President Andrew Johnson
• President Andrew Johnson was the 17th president of The United States
• President Andrew Johnson was born in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1808. The onus of assuming the office had fallen on him rather abruptly, after the sudden assassination of President Abraham Lincoln in 1865.
• Being an honest and straightforward man, President Lyndon Johnson had acquired a number of opponents in his short tenure- most of these opponents being in the radical Congress.
• Finding hard to fight against the Radicals and maintaining peace in a strife torn country, President Lyndon Johnson was walking a tight rope.
• In the times of the secession, when Tennessee was seceded, he still remained in the office, making him a hero in the Northern part of the country, and an obvious traitor in the eyes of most of the people of the Southern states.
• Being an astute and magnificent speaker, President Lyndon Johnson was able to win over the common man soon after assuming office and entering the rather filthy world of politics.
• Because of his soft corner towards the commoners, President Andrew Johnson was considered as a traitor by most members of the elite aristocratic class of the US, which made him an obvious target.

I’m proud because president Andrew Johnson was born in the same state as me. Oh, and it is a presidential quality to be straightforward. Am I not rigt?
President Andrew Johnson was old fashioned. He liked to do the things in an old democrat way. Anyway, I heard President Andrew Johnson was quite unfortunate.
