• President William Howard Taft was the 27th president of The United States
• Caught between the ongoing and ever ranging political battle between being conservative and the new era of liberalism that was spreading its wings in the US, President Howard Taft was not too comfortable during his 4 year stay at the White House.
• President William Howard Taft was a jovial man, a distinguished administrator, but he lacked the political will and was not good with the manipulative measures needed to stay afloat in the political arena.
• President Howard Taft was born in 1857 and being born into a family of jurists, he also went on to study at Yale. When he returned, he further pursued and practiced law at Cincinnati.
• Known for his administrative abilities, he was sent to the Philippines by President William McKinley in 1900. Subsequently, it was through the way of his administrative abilities that he had escalated his ranks to the White Office.
• It was President Franklin Roosevelt who saw the hidden gem in President Howard Taft and after making him the secretary of war in 1907, decided that President Howard Taft should be his successor.

    the fact that he wasn’t feeling comfortable made him a not-so-good president, as i heard. however, president william howard taft could do better.

    Yep, President William Howard Taft was not a good president. He could do way better. I don’t get it why people chose him, though. I don’t think he seemed to be good as president.
